Season 5 of Black Mirror has finally been confirmed on Netflix and will be officially released on June 5, 2019, and fans are thriving for its release! For those who don’t know what Black Mirror is, it’s a sci-fi anthology series that goes to show how technology can be threatening to our lives, and shows how impactful and dangerous it could be if misused. Black Mirror guides to show its viewers some of the worst-case scenarios of how technology could drive our lives to the near future if we people of the current generation are not cautious enough, and despite it being an entertainment show, this is definitely eye opening for many of us viewers. It’s useful to observe and take in some of the important highlights that the show dives deep into and how some of the episodes could have a possibility of coming to reality. The new upcoming season will have Miley Cryus cast in one of the episodes where it would be about a lonely teenager that yearns to connect with her favorite pop star who would be Miley Cyrus here but her charmed existence wouldn't be as quite as it appears it to be.

RedBull Mobile is Launching in Oman
This internationally known energy drink brand is famous not only for its many flavors but also for its contributions to various sports, such as car racing, extreme sports, and football.
RedBull launching its mobile virtual network operation (MVNO) in Oman and you can already see its advertisements on billboards in the streets of Muscat.
The new Omani venture will be a partnership between the beverage company and Majan Telecom Company (Class Two Licensee for the resale of mobile telecom services in Oman).
RedBull MOBILE is a mobile service and community that allows users to benefit of more than mobile services; RedBull MOBILE will provide its exclusive content download, such as music, wallpapers, games, and videos as well as the promotion of its events.
RedBull Mobile has already established MVNOs in many other countries around the world.
How will Oman welcome WhatsApp new updated version with limiting message forwarding for 5 times?
Now you will no longer be able to forward WhatsApp messages to more than 5 times. Announcement from WhatsApp on Monday 21st January 2019 said it was restricting worldwide how many times any given message can be forwarded from 20 to 5.
Spreading of Mendacious campaigns and fake stories on WhatsApp has become a big problem around the world. Unlike other social media channels like Twitter and Facebook, WhatsApp messages are private and encrypted. Hence it’s very difficult to track the origin of the message.
WhatsApp spokesman said, “We’ll continue to listen to user feedback about their experience, and over time, look for new ways of addressing viral content.”
Countries like Oman with a fewer number of social problems may be affected by this release negatively as friends and groups are restricted to forward their messages. WhatsApp is already playing a major role in the communication system in Oman, not only among friends but within companies. Due to it’s fast and convenience many companies in Oman are using WhatsApp as a communication method. So we will have to wait and see how the local market will adapt to this new version.
The company will release an update with forwarding limit, first to Android devices and then to IOS devices accordingly. Oman is expected the new release in near future.
The Best Minute - Mazoon Electricity Company SAOC
Mazoon Electricity Company S.A.O.C organised a ceremony for ‘The Best Minute’ on 8th November 2018, Thursday at Nizwa Cultural Center wherein the employees made brief 1-minute videos on different topics related to electricity offered by MZEC. Mr. Mohamed Shebani and Mr. Malinga from Mirrors Oman were the judges for the event. The top 3 winners were given cash prizes.
MIRRORS ORGANIZES THE EVENT OF ALCATEL SMART-PHONES RELEASE IN OMAN

Mobile company Alcatel Introduced three of it's latest smart-phones.
The event was organized and managed by Mirrors and held in Al-falaj Hotel in Muscat with more than 135 guests.
Mr. Rabih Faroun, the training manager at alcatel was the main speaker in the event, presenting the new smart-phones along with all the features.
Al Sahwa School students visit to Mirrors
Leveraging a unique educational approach that goes beyond the classroom, four students in 6th grade and their teacher from Al Sahwa School interviewed Mohamed Shebani , Head of Communications at Mirrors to understand how real-life companies have turned social media into a sustainable marketing tool and to get insights about the local market and the competition through social media.
At the end of the semester these four students will be presenting a report on the visit to Mirrors which will be considered as their course project.
NextGen Event 2018
Mirrors Events have organized the Middle East Council of Shopping Centres Next Generation Networking Event on the 19th of March 2018 at the Grand Millennium Hotel in Muscat to celebrate Omanis who turned Retail into a Career.
There was a great turn up of retail professionals from Oman and other GCC countries.
This is the 5th Next Generation event that has been organized by Mirrors in co-operation with The Retail Agency and The Middle East Council of Shopping Centres (MECSC).

Cake Talks event 2018
Mirrors, a leading agency in Oman, has organized the Cake Talks 2018 which is an event that aims to gather hobby bakers and homebased cake decorators under one roof. The event took place in the Food Court of Oasis Mall on the 17th of March 2018 with a great turn up of cake bakers and a huge audience to support them.
